Infinity Mirror LED Neon Signs: Endless Depth, Custom Made

Stand in front of an infinity mirror sign and the light doesn't stop at the glass — it keeps going, ring after ring, into what looks like a bottomless tunnel. We've added this effect to our custom LED neon range, and it has quickly become the sign people stop and film.

What is an infinity mirror sign?

An infinity mirror sign combines a mirrored surface with a partly transparent one, with the LED neon placed between and in front of them. Light bounces back and forth between the two surfaces, so every glowing line is repeated again and again, each copy slightly smaller and dimmer than the last. The eye reads it as real depth: a lit shape floating in a deep, glowing tunnel.

It's a classic optical effect, but on a custom LED neon sign it takes on a new role — the "tunnel" is shaped like your logo, your lettering or your artwork.

Why it looks so different from a flat neon sign

A standard LED neon sign is a bright line on a flat backing. An infinity mirror sign is a sculpture of light. Move around it and the layers shift against each other; the same sign looks different from every angle and in every light.

  • Depth without bulk — the tunnel is an optical illusion, so the sign stays compact.
  • Movement — the reflections shift as people walk past, which draws the eye in a way static signs can't.
  • Shareable — it photographs and films beautifully, which is exactly what customers and guests do with it.
  • Efficient LED light — LED neon draws only around 5–9 W per metre, so the effect is cheap to run.

Where infinity mirror neon works best

  • Reception desks and brand walls — a logo that gives visitors a "wow" moment in the first five seconds.
  • Bars, restaurants and lounges — a statement piece behind the counter or in a photo corner.
  • Retail and showrooms — eye-catching display pieces, product launches and pop-ups.
  • Events and exhibition stands — a compact sign that still stops people walking by.
  • Gyms, studios and salons — a modern focal point for the space.
  • Homes and gifts — a name, initials or a symbol for a living room, bedroom or games room.

Looks good in the dark — and in daylight

The tunnel effect is strongest in a dimmer room, where the repeated light stands out against dark surroundings. But the sign is far from dull when the lights are on: the mirror surface reflects the room, and the neon keeps its sharp, saturated colour. Our photos were taken both in a dark space and in ordinary daylight so you can see the difference.

What can be made in infinity mirror style?

Anything that works as a clear, bold line: company logos, short words and names, initials, simple icons and outline illustrations. Very fine detail and tiny lettering don't translate well — the repeated layers need clean shapes. Send us your artwork or just an idea and we'll tell you honestly whether it will look good, and suggest simplifications if not.

Frequently asked questions

How does an infinity mirror neon sign work?

Light reflects back and forth between a mirror and a semi-transparent mirror, creating a series of ever-smaller copies of the neon that look like an endless tunnel.

Is it expensive to run?

No. LED neon uses roughly 5–9 W per metre, far less than glass neon.

Can it be made with my logo?

Yes, as long as the shape is bold and clean enough. We'll check your artwork and advise before you order.

Can I choose the colour?

Yes — you can pick from our range of neon colours, or choose RGB if you want to change colour from a phone or remote. Several fixed colours on one sign don't raise the price; RGB does.
